The goal of the Lake Oswego Girls Softball is to provide a safe, fun and instructional environment for all players ages 4 - 14.  This will be accomplished by placing girls on teams of players with similar abilities. If each child is placed correctly then it should prove to be a very enjoyable year for the player, parents and coaches. It is the responsibility of the Lake Oswego Girls Softball Board to ensure that this goal is met.

League Structure Overview

• Every player will make a team - see Levels of Play page for details.

• Spring evaluations will be for all AAA, Majors and Juniors players, and will be used by coaches for team placement (evaluation date TBD in February and will be formally announced 

• T-Ball, A and AA teams will be formed in February after registration closes and teams are dependent on total registrations received. These teams are formed based on various factors, e.g., player's school and neighborhood, coach request, prior experience.

• Coaches will be reaching out to their players AFTER teams have been formed and will determine practice times and frequency

• Game schedules will be determined once our Lake Oswego Girls Softball representatives meet with the other District 4 Leagues. The meeting will happen in March and is influenced by Coaches and field availability.

• Practices and home games will be played at Lake Oswego Jr. High, Lakeridge Jr. High, Lakeridge HS or Lake Grove Elementary School - see Field Locations Page for more details
